Harlem Pastor Supports Battle Flag

The Cost of Total War in the South

New scholarly works on these topics suggest startlingly higher numbers of people who lost their lives as a result of the War of Northern Aggression.

The traditional number of soldiers who died as a result of this epic War, 620,000 (360,000 Northern and 260,000 Southern) has been revised to 750,000 (400,000 Northern and 350,000 Southern).   An estimated 35,000 white Southern civilians died, numbers very seldom even considered in the costs of the War.

Perhaps most astonishing of all, because heretofore very little attention has been paid to the deaths of black people caused by the War, the number of blacks who died in the Confederate States from the War's causes may well have reached 200,000, primarily a result of the policies of the "Union" government both during the War and Reconstruction, including the severe hardships brought on the Southern People by the blockade.

The Southern loss of life was so great that the prominent historian James McPherson believes that the total mortality rate of the South from this war - without counting the huge number of blacks who died - was greater than that of any country during World War I, a war so devastating that the West has been in decline ever since.  In World War II, only the region between the Rhine and the Volga suffered greater total mortality than did the South during the War, and this region included the Nazi death camps.

Almost 30% of all Southern white men between the ages of 18 and 48 died fighting for Southern Independence.   This ratio of deaths in a war fought today by the United States would result in 21 million deaths, virtually incomprehensible to modern Americans.  This rate of mortality is 300 times that of the Vietnam War, in which 58,000 Americans died.  Even World War II saw "only" 405,000 American deaths, itself a huge number, though paling in comparison with the comparable Southern losses during the War.

YOUTUBE VIDEOS

The largest church in Harlem is a Baptist church pastored by Dr. James Manning. Yes, Pastor Manning is black. I remember watching Dr. Manning on Fox News back in 2008 when he called then candidate Obama, "a long-legged mack daddy." And then he said, "and for all you white people who don't know what a 'mack daddy' is its a PIMP." Then he want on as only a black preacher can about how Obama was pimpin' hope, he was pimpin' change, and he was pimpin' Hillary Clinton. Go to youtube and look up those OLD James David Manning videos.

I'll give you a start: https://youtu.be/U4-TZspqlOs is a youtube video of Manning preaching on "Obama's Mamma."

Here is a video where he says Michelle Obama "looks like King Kong's baby sister." He said that if Michelle and Whoopie Goldberg were in a beauty contest that Whoopie would win: https://youtu.be/F1sJDhJ-6iE

Now Manning has a daily TV and radio broadcast in New York City and he has been coming out in support of the South and Confederate Flag.

Below is a youtube video that Dr. Manning broadcast right after the flag was removed from the South Carolina statehouse.

Here is a second video that you just have to watch once or twice. Pastor Manning suggests that God will raise up Confederates to save America from liberalism and gays.

An Indiana TV station reported this week that a woman stripped at roadside over the weekend to protest a Confederate flag "appreciation ride."

On Sunday, members of a Facebook group promised that over 100 vehicles would rally for a "Confederate flags, American flags, Don't Tread On Me Flag Appreciation ride"

The ride was set to begin at Hideaway 2 Bar & Grill until the restaurant owner suggested that they were not welcome, forcing them to gather at an abandoned CVS parking lot in Lafayette.

A woman named Maddie said that she decided to strip down to her bra and underwear to pull attention away from the group.

She told told WLFI that the ride participants were committing "an act of domestic terrorism" aimed at minorities by flying the Confederate flag.

Flagging in San Antonio, Florida (Pasco Co.)

On Saturday, October 17, 2015, there will be a flagging event scheduled for the 2015 San Antonio (yes, Florida) Rattlesnake Festival.

The Rotary Club of San Antonio decided to deny the application of the General Jubal A. Early Camp and the Florida Confederate Memorial Wall because, in their words, it was not appropriate for their event.

Members of the SCV, SCV Mech Cav, Hardcore Confederates, and numerous flagging groups are all invited to attend.  We will be meeting at the Village Square Shopping Center in Wesley Chapel at the corner of Highway 54 and Bruce B. Downs. (just east of I-275 at the Zephyrhills exit, behind Waffle House) between 10:30am and 11:00am.  At 11:15 we will conduct a rally convoy to the San Antonio City Park area where we will dismount, grab our flags, and enjoy our day showing our pride and enjoying this FREE festival, open to the public.

TODAY FOX NEWS REPORTS:

More than 20 western Virginia high school students were suspended Thursday after holding a rally to protest a new policy banning vehicles with Confederate flag symbols from the school parking lot and refusing to take off clothing displaying the symbol.

Christiansburg High School Senior Houston Miller, who organized the rally, said he doesn't believe the administration should be able to tell students what they can wear or put on their vehicle. He said he doesn't intend to back down and is encouraging more students to show their support for the flag Friday.

"I feel like I should have the right to wear whatever I want, and I'm standing up for this," Miller said.

The dress code at the school in Christiansburg - south of Blacksburg along Interstate 81 - prohibits students from wearing articles that reflect adversely on people because of race, gender, or other factors. A new policy this fall bans students from having Confederate symbols on their vehicles in the parking lot.

The 21 students who refused to remove their Confederate flag clothing were initially given in-school suspensions, said Brenda Drake, a spokeswoman for Montgomery County Public Schools. But 15 of them were sent home for the day after being loud and disruptive. Another two students were suspended for additional days.

Senior Morgan Willis attended the rally but decided to comply with the rules because she feared a suspension would prevent her from representing the school at an event this weekend. She had a Confederate flag draped across the top of her car until she was told on the first day of class to remove it, she said.

Willis said that for her and for other students, the flag is central to their Southern heritage.

"I understand some people take it as hate, but none of us out there were racist or anything," Willis said. "I don't see it as hate. If I did, I wouldn't own it. I see it as this is your Southern heritage, and if you can't have that, then what can you have?"

The new policy regarding Confederate flags on cars has also angered some parents, including Josh Akers, whose child attends the grade school in the school district. He started an online petition that has more than 1,200 supporters urging the school board to reverse the policy.

Richmond-based Attorney Jonathan Arthur said he has been talking to some of the students about potentially filing a lawsuit against the school, arguing that they have a Constitutionally-protected right to wear clothing emblazoned the flag.

Douglas Mertz, an attorney in Juneau, Alaska, who works on civil rights cases, said the courts have been divided over the issue. It often comes down to whether the school can point to concrete and specific problems that the symbol has caused, like a fight that broke out between students.

"The Supreme Court has said that you don't speculate that there might be a substantial impact on the education process. It has got to be really clear," Mertz said. "School officials can't simply go in with the belief that symbols are trouble and therefore can be banned," he said.
