Reverend Gary Hall, dean of Washington National Cathedral has said that the church is going to remove the windows that depict American historical scenes from the WBTS. The scenes included a Confederate soldier playing a bugle before a line of field tents and a Confederate flag as well as Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson.
The decision was made at the same time that an invitation was extended by Cathedral officials to host an Islamic prayer by various Muslim radical groups invited into the supposedly Christian National Cathedral. The invited Islamists included leaders of the Islamic Society of North America and the Council on American-Islamic Relations. In 2009, both groups were identified as co-conspirators in a plan to provide funding to the HAMAS jihad group. Both groups are also suspected to have ties with ISIS.
The record highlighted by experts shows that CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in a Texas-based criminal effort to deliver $12 million to HAMAS jihad group, that CAIR was founded with $490,000 from HAMAS, and that the FBI bans top-level meetings with CAIR officials. "The FBI policy restricting a formal relationship with CAIR remains ... [but] does not preclude communication regarding investigative activity or allegations of civil rights violations," said Oct. 2, 2015 an email from FBI spokesman Christopher Allen.
Cathedral officials did not ask the Islamic groups for any reciprocation, not even for a polite request to the groups' to disavow their associations with HAMAS and ISIS.
Reverend Hall said, "The original purpose of the confederate-flag windows was to promote national unity, but the window is now an immoral homage to slavery that needs to be eradicated."
No timetable or system of removal has been determined to eliminate the decades-old windows, but in the meantime Cathedral officials announced the scheduling of a program called "What The White Church Must Do." With its recommendations clearly setting the "white church" apart from those serving blacks and other ethnic groups.
Reverend Hall is well known for his political activism. He has made national news defending his decision to turn the National Cathedral over to Muslims on the anniversary of the day the last Caliph declared war on all non-believers. It was "appropriate" to have a Muslim event in a Christian church on that day, without any comparable reciprocation, said Hall. He has also organized high profile anti-gun vigils held in the Cathedral.
A NEW YORK CITY TO BAN FLAG IN FUTURE PARADES
Officials in Saratoga Springs say they'll create guidelines for parade participants after a motorcyclist flew a Confederate flag from a staff attached to the rear of his motorcycle during the upstate city's annual Memorial Day event. A smaller U.S. flag was next to the Confederate banner.
During a City Council meeting Tuesday night, Saratoga Springs Mayor Joanne Yepsen assured the public that additional steps will be taken in the future to make sure that those participating in city parades are screened.
A few residents in the popular tourist destination expressed anger against the presence of the flag. However, most of those who commented on the initial story that ran in the Times Union on Tuesday, as well as five people who emailed, support the man who flew the flag, saying it's, "freedom of speech," and, "the man was honoring Confederate Civil War veterans."
Yepsen says the man may have been from Georgia, but she's unaware of how he got into the parade. City officials are investigating.
AMERICAN FLAGS ON CONFEDERATE GRAVES?
Some people still believe that American flags do not belong on Confederate graves. Some feel so strongly about it that they remove those flags.
In one recent instance, however, the flag snatcher had a change of heart.
An unknown person removed 163 U.S. flags from Confederate graves at Shiloh National Military Park over the Memorial Day weekend. Staff discovered the flags were missing on that Saturday and replaced them in time for official ceremonies on Memorial Day (May 30). The next day, custodial staff at the park in Tennessee found a bag with all 163 flags accompanied by a handwritten note. "It was an apology that went on to express the person's feelings that American flags should not be flying over graves of Confederate soldiers," park superintendent Dale Wilkerson told CNN on Tuesday. "But history teaches us that they do belong there," Wilkerson said.
"People need to understand that American flags are out there as a sign of respect, not disrespect," Wilkerson said. "It's a sign of respect for those American soldiers." A post on the park's Facebook page titled "Why There Are American Flags on Confederate Graves" laid out the events that led Congress to recognize Confederate veterans as American soldiers, according them the same benefits and honors as American veterans of other conflicts.
Responses to the Facebook post reflected a big difference of opinion. One commenter claiming to be a descendant of five Confederate soldiers said he took offense to the American flag being placed on Confederate graves. "Yes they are considered American soldiers but that isn't the flag they [fought] under. Placing THAT flag on their graves is nothing more than a slap in the face!!!!!!" the commenter wrote.
Said another, "Use some common sense. Don't put a Yankee flag on a Rebel grave. They [should have] been taken off. Put a Rebel flag on a Rebel grave."
Others felt equally strongly about decorating Confederate graves with the American flag.
A minority advocated not honoring or decorating Confederate graves at all.
Michael Landree, executive director of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, was quoted by CNN to have said that, "there is nothing wrong with a 50-star flag on a Confederate grave." He then is quoted to have said, "But, a Confederate flag would be more appropriate." "That's the flag they fought and died under," said Landree, who retired from the Marines in 2015 as a lieutenant colonel. "We don't disparage the use of a U.S. flag on them, but a more appropriate flag is a Confederate flag."
Park service regulations allow for the placement of small flags at federal cemeteries on two days: Memorial Day and Confederate Memorial Day in states that observe it. Members of the local Sons of Confederate Veterans camp held a memorial service at Shiloh battlefield on May 30 and decorated the burial sites with Confederate flags with the park's permission, Wilkerson said. "It's our honor to place those flags out there," he said.
New Jersey Democrat takes up fight to remove the Confederate flag from Citadel
"NEVER TRUMP" leaders in the U.S. House were unsuccessful in their recent efforts to force the removal of the Confederate flag from The Citadel's Summerall Chapel.
Now, a Senate Democrat is taking up their cause.
U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has filed an amendment to the pending 2017 National Defense Authorization Act identical to the one that failed in the House version earlier. Both call for withholding all Reserve Officers' Training Corps funding from any military academy that flies the Confederate flag.
The Citadel in Charleston is currently the only institution that fits this category.
U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., who spearheaded the failed effort in the House, said he gave Booker all the relevant information weeks ago so he could pick up where House members left off.
South Carolina Republicans, including Gov. Nikki Haley and Senator Lindsey Graham, are actively working on the State level to take down the flag. U.S. Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., shares these sentiments and is a close ally of Booker's. But Scott said he would not go on record voting for Booker's amendment on the Confederate flag because doing so would be political suicide in South Carolina. Lindsey Graham is also taking Scott's approach to the issue for the same reasons and will simply arrange to be absent from voting on that day according to Graham's spokesman.
It's unlikely Booker will succeed where Clyburn has so far fallen short. But that will only be because Senators from other states will do what Nikki Haley, Lindsey Graham, and Tim Scott of South Carolina REFUSE to do - support and vote in favor of keeping the Confederate heritage for which their State has so long been known.
Because we live in an era much weaker and more sensitive than it was during Ali's prime, his death is being eulogized with the sort of solemn, sanctimony-addled, weak-tea, low-T, hagiographic twaddle we've come to expect from neutered zombie bloggers on antidepressants. Just as mainstream history has Photoshopped all the warts off Nelson Mandela and MLK, Ali is now strictly framed as an inspirational figure who "spoke out against racism." Certainly they don't mean the time he condemned interracial sex before a cheering crowd?
The sad truth is that by shellacking history with a paintbrush soaked in modern pieties, they're suppressing how hilariously "insensitive" Ali really was.
For example, after being forced into an impromptu photo session with The Beatles in 1964, he reportedly turned to an associate and asked, "So who were those little faggots?"
Mere weeks later, he announced that he was changing his "slave name" of Cassius Marcellus Clay to Muhammad Ali at the behest of Elijah Muhammad, leader of the Nation of Islam. For years, Ali would be used as a completely hoodwinked and manipulated and bamboozled puppet of the Islamists.
Ali was not the only black with a well-deserved reputation as a tremendous athlete who had an unfortunate tendency to do dopey things when attempting to "reclaim" his lost heritage.
For example, when blacks renounce Christianity in favor of Islam, they are merely trading one group of their former slave masters for another. The original Cassius Marcellus Clay, after whom the boxer was named, was a white anti-slavery crusader and WBTS veteran. Muhammad Ali of Egypt was a warlord whose army enslaved multitudes of Sudanese.
From 1964 to 1980, Clay/Ali is on the record with numerous comments that would get any modern white man socially exiled to Pluto for daring to utter their equivalent:
"Integration is wrong....I don't believe in forcing it...." -1964 interview with the Louisville Courier-Journal
"My enemies are white people, not Viet Congs or Chinese or Japanese." -1967 interview regarding the draft
"All Jews and gentiles are devils....Blacks are no devils....Everything black people doing wrong comes from (the white people-drinking, smoking, prostitution, homosexuality, stealing, gambling-it all comes from (the white people)." -1969 interview with David Frost
"Every intelligent person wants his child to look like him. I'm sad because I [don't] want to blot out my race and lose my beautiful identity? Chinese love Chinese-they love their little slanted-eyed, pretty brown-skinned babies. Pakistanis love their culture. Jewish people love their culture. Lotta Catholics don't wanna marry nothing but Catholics, they want their religion to stay the same. Who wanna spot up yourself and kill your race? You a hater of your people if you don't want to stay who you are." -1971 BBC interview with the portentously named Michael Parkinson
"A black man should be killed if he's messing with a white woman." - 1975 interview with Playboy
"You know the entire power structure is Zionist. They control America; they control the world." -1980 interview with India Today
Ali relentlessly taunted other black boxers, calling them "Uncle Toms" and "gorillas." He once said that while clinching white boxers, he'd whisper in their ears that the Black Panthers knew where they lived and were going to burn their house down. He also reportedly lied in a 1975 autobiography when claiming that being refused service at a white restaurant caused him to toss his 1960 Olympics Gold Medal in the Ohio River. According to Ali's friend Bundini Brown, "Honkies sure bought into that one!"
Although Ali's indomitable ego fueled his ascendancy, it would later prove to be his undoing. He continued stubbornly fighting long after he'd lost his magic, and his 1980 battering at the hands of Larry Holmes was so lopsided, Holmes-a lifelong Ali fan-reportedly cried after the fight out of guilt.
In 1984 Ali was diagnosed with what is now called Parkinson's disease. It was a grim prolonged public spectacle to view the once indomitably brash heavyweight champion reduced to a jittering mess.
Since the 1960s are still remembered as the time when everything changed for the better rather than started falling apart, the reigning modern historians have recast Ali as a man of peace and healing and love and one-worldsmanship rather than the fearless master of physical and psychological cruelty that he was.
My favorite two Ali quotes, which will never be topped, touch upon one of the most unspeakable topics in this modern "conversation" about race which we're all supposed to be having but are simultaneously forbidden from even beginning to have. The topic is whether blacks, for all the oppression and brutality they allegedly endure in America, have it worse in Africa.
At the 1960 Rome Olympics, Ali told a reporter:
"To me, the U.S.A. is still the best country in the world, counting yours. It may be hard to eat sometimes, but anyhow I ain't fighting alligators and living in a mud hut."
After Ali spent months training in Zaire to fight George Foreman, a reporter asked him his impressions of Africa. Ali's response proves that although his IQ was twice tested at 78, he was a genius at making pithy rejoinders:
"Thank God my granddaddy got on that boat."
# 10 Only in America ... Could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000.00 per plate Obama campaign fund-raising event.
# 09 Only in America ... Could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when they have a black President, a black Attorney General and roughly 20% of the federal workforce is black while only 14% of the population is black, 40+% of all federal entitlements goes to black Americans - 3X the rate that go to whites, 5X the rate that go to Hispanics!
# 08 Only in America ... Could they have had the two people most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner (the head of the Treasury Department) and Charles Rangel (who once ran the Ways and Means Committee), BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.
# 07 Only in America ... Can they have terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and have the media primarily react by fretting that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash.
# 06 Only in America ... Would they make people who want to legally become American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege, while they discuss letting anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just 'magically' become American citizens. (probably should be number one)
# 05 Only in America ... Could the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country's Constitution be called EXTREMISTS.
# 04 Only in America ... Could you need to present a driver's license to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.
# 03 Only in America ... Could people demand the government investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. Oil company (Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).
# 02 Only in America ... Could you collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a Trillion dollars more than it has per year - for total spending of $7 Million PER MINUTE, and complain that it doesn't have nearly enough money.
# 01 Only in America .... Could the rich people - who pay 86% of all income taxes - be accused of not paying their "fair share" by people who don't pay any income taxes at all.

This past week Donald Trump has been accused of being a racist because he dared to point out that a member of the Federal Judiciary is also a member of a violent anti-American group.
Before getting into the racially-challenged Judge Curiel, here is a brief history of La Raza for those who are, yet, unfamiliar with the organization. La Raza is a virulent racist anti-white organization that wants to have US land ceded to Mexico, will affect riots and all manner of violence to do so and have gotten a pass from the current administration. Instead, Obama appointed former Head of La Raza Cecilia Munoz to 2 positions in his White House...that of Director of Intergovernmental Affairs and the position she currently maintains as the Director of the White House Council. Munoz has been with the ObamaGov since it began in January 2009. She wields a great deal of power. And is, arguably, one of the strongest racists in his administration.
The Southwest Council of La Raza (SWCLR) was founded in 1968 and with funding from-amongst others-the leftist Ford Foundation, it quickly became the National Council of La Raza (NCLR). La Raza means "The Race" and it began as a Mexican-specific organization. The group's motto is "Everything for The Race. Outside The Race...Nothing!" La Raza is a hard-line Marxist organization and it openly expresses hatred for white people. Even Marxist Cesar Chavez talked against the group when he commented "I hear more and more Mexicans talking about la raza-to build up their pride. Some people don't look at it as racism, but when you say 'La Raza,' you are saying an anti-gringo thing, and it won't stop there. Today it's anti-gringo, tomorrow it will be anti-Negro.We had a stupid guy who just wanted to play politics with the union, and he began to whip up La Raza against the white volunteers, and even had some of the farm workers and the pickets and the organizers hung up on La Raza. So I took him on. These things have to be met head on. On discrimination, I don't even give the members the privilege of a vote, and I'm not ashamed of it. No, the whole business of discrimination can't exist here. So often, these days, the leaders are afraid, and even though they feel strongly against racism, they will not speak out against it. If the leadership is united, then it can say, 'All right, if you're going to do things that way, then you'll have to get rid of us.' You have to speak out immediately, the first time."
Judge Curiel is a member of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association. They seem to follow the same tenets as the national group, including but, not limited to support for illegal immigrants (specifically Mexican, Latino, Hispanic) entering the USA.
Continuing to flout US law, Judge Curiel, also, gave US school scholarships to Mexican illegal aliens.
An Obama-appointed judge who won't obey laws he doesn't like. Hmmm. Sound familiar?
Gotnews.com has searched naturalization records but could find none showing that Curiel's parents who migrated from Mexico were ever US citizens.
Yes, folks. It appears Mr. Trump is correct. And who is the real racist? To me...it certainly doesn't appear to be Trump.
We must all remain vigilant, now, and watch what people do, listen to what they say and then investigate both.
Oh, and did I tell you that La-Raza supports the secession of Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and Southern California into an independent nation where everyone will have a common race (latino), a common language (spanish), a common religion (Catholicism) and a common geography (in what was formerly the Southernmost US States)? And yet the same liberals who would give LaRaza a pass are insistent that our ancestors were radical traitors for wanting to do the SAME thing when 13 Southern States, all sharing a common language and culture, seceeded and attempted to form an independent nation called the Confederate States of America.
"This is why I speak to them in parables: "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand"-.Matthew 13:13
Have you ever wondered what it was like to serve in the Confederate States Army?
Last week we discussed Raphael Semmes, an officer in the Confederate Navy and his excellent book. This week we are offering the book: Detailed Minutiae of Soldier Life in the Army of Northern Virginia, 1861-1865 by Carlton McCarthy.
This is an excellent book that tells what it was like to serve in the CSA Army.
Everyone who gives a gift of $5 or more this week will receive a copy of Detailed Minutiae of Soldier Life in the Army of Northern Virginia, 1861-1865 by Carlton McCarthy.

Some of you may remember back a few weeks, in response to the news story that a previously unidentified man in a photo with the infamous Lee Harvy Oswald may have been Raphael Cruz, father of Ted Cruz, that I postulated that Ted's father being a CIA operative would certainly explain a lot.
Well, it may just be, as Uncle Reamus would say, "its factual."
CIA: Requests for Documents on Ted Cruz's Father
The Obama administration has been playing a cat-and-mouse game, in response to media generated freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests with the Central Intelligence Agency for "copies of all records generated between January 1, 1947 and May 5, 2016, concerning the Central Intelligence Agency's employment of or contacts with Rafael Bienvenidos Cruz, Sr., the Cuban-born grandfather of Texas Senator Ted Cruz."
Also requested were all similar records generated between January 1, 1956 and May 5, 2016, concerning the CIA's relationships with Rafael Bienvenidos Cruz y Diaz, Jr., the Cuban-born father of Ted Cruz.
The agency has not only rejected numerous requests for expedited processing of the request for not demonstrating "a compelling need" but has used Privacy Act requirements to stymie several of the FOIA request on Ted Cruz's father's past association with the CIA.
The CIA has responded that requests on living [emphasis in original] third parties to provide a signed affidavit or declaration from the third parties waiving all or some of their privacy rights. In the case of Ted Cruz's father, who is still alive, it is highly doubtful that he will waive any of his privacy rights in order that any CIA records of his association with the agency in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Cuba, or Canada be released to the public.
As for Ted Cruz's grandfather, an employee of the RCA Corporation in Cuba, a followup request for documents remains possible as long as a media outlet can supply the CIA with his date and place of birth and date and place of death, with the death affirmed by a death certificate or obituary notice in hard copy (good luck with that).
The CIA's reason for the requirement for a death certificate or obituary notice is that they "may be unable to distinguish between individuals with the same or similar names" in order to "ensure there are no privacy considerations." The names of Ted Cruz's father and grandfather are identical.
So if there were not records documenting that both Ted's father and grandfather were in fact CIA operatives why doesn't the agency simply refuse the requests on the grounds that there are no such documents?
Could this be the real reason Ted dropped out of the race so suddenly?
NEW YORK TIMES OFFENDS ALL SOUTHERNERS
The New York Times made a curious editorial decision earlier this week regarding the picture they picked to go with their article about Donald Trump's speech before the Rolling Thunder motorcyclists in Washington D.C.
In their piece, the Times described how Trump addressed an "incongruous constituency" at this event. The Rolling Thunder Rally is meant to 'honor educate, facilitate, and never forget by means of a demonstration for service members that were abandoned after the Vietnam War.'
However, in what might have been the most peculiar part of the article, though, the Times decided that their top featured image from the event would be one with a Trump-supporting biker with the Confederate Flag patched on the back of his jacket.
The Times decided to go with the picture of the flag when there were many images from the rally for them to choose from. In fact, we reviewed coverage from several different mainstream media outlets and we didn't find anyone else featuring an image with the Confederate Flag. Trump's event received a great deal of media coverage as per usual, and there were plenty of pictures available where the controversial image is not seen.
The fact is that the New York Times believes the Confederate Flag to be evil. That is why they chose it in their not so veiled effort to paint Donald Trump as evil. Neither Trump, nor the flag of our ancestors is evil. But maybe, I'm starting to think, that the New York Times is!
