THE DIXIE HERITAGE HOUR - MAR. 29, 2019 –Tom Kawczynski

3/29/2019

In this week's TBR Radio Presents: The Dixie Heritage Hour Dr. Ed calls Tom Kawczynski. Tom was the former City Manager of Jackman, Maine. A job from which he was fired for being a white Christian man.

Jackman is a small town in rural Maine with about 1,000 citizens who are almost all white. The feds wanted to dump 40,000 Somali refugees in the area against the will of the citizens. Thats when the massive media campaign against Tom began.

Tom talks about the ways that the Fed's will change the demographics of an area through section 8 housing, refugee settlement, and forced immigration of foreigners and also forced migration of minorities into white areas.

Jackman was near the Canadian border. So Tom worked regularly with his counterparts on the other side of the border. Many Canadians are fearful of their central government and the demographic changes it is forcing on its rural communities.

Quebec, has been systematically over-populated with Africans and Haitians who will soon outnumber the native population while British Columbia and Ontario are being systematically over-populated with Asians. As a result, Canada's changing demographics will make it so that 10 years from now our nation's biggest security threat will be at the NORTHERN Border rather than the southern.

Tom and Ed talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the Trump administration, what will happen if the President does not get a handle on immigration, and Toms 4 books. Tom's most popular book is "The Coming Civil War." In it, he lays out four possible outcomes for America's future.

We are living in interesting times. This interview tries to make at least a little sense of them.

THE DIXIE HERITAGE HOUR - MAR. 22, 2019 – H. K. Edgerton

In this week's TBR Radio Presents: The Dixie Heritage Hour Dr. Ed calls Confederate heritage activist and Southern Legal Resource Center (SLRC) board member H. K. Edgerton.

H. K. Talks about his rise to the presidency of the N.A.A.C.P. and how, in the 80's, as N.A.A.C.P. President, he blocked the organizations original resolution to protest and condemn the Confederate Flag. This was the beginning of his advocacy for Confederate heritage and also the beginning of the end of his career at the N.A.A.C.P.

H.K. then tells how he met attorney Kirk D. Lyons, chief legal counsel for the SLRC. While still President of the N.A.A.C.P. Edgerton had retained Lyons in a lawsuit against the City of Asheville, North Carolina over discrimination against blacks and poor whites in housing. Yes, the N.A.A.C.P. used to help not only blacks, but also whites back in the days when H.K. was a leader in the organization. Much of the funding used to help underprivileged people of all races are now being used to fight Southern heritage, take down monuments, etc. Because of this, the N.A.A.C.P., according to H.K. is no longer helping people, having been totally sidetracked fighting flags and statues. H.K. And Lyons maintained a friendship and, at the time of his ouster from the N.A.A.C.P., Lyons offered H.K. a position on the SLRC's board. Eventually, H.K. would find himself working full-time in defense of Southern and Confederate heritage.

H.K. also explains why educated blacks do not accept the "Lincoln myth," why Fredrick Douglas was NOT a hero to black people and was actually a traitor to his race, the historically unprecedented brutality of the Union Army towards blacks, and why his black ancestors fought for the confederacy.

H.K.'s grandmother may have been the only black woman to have received a Confederate State Funeral.

Toward the end of the call, H.K. tells Dr. Ed what it was like for him, as a black child, to grow up in the "Jim Crow" south and some of the jobs he had as young man.

As Caddymaster for a prominent North Carolina country club he caddied for several celebrities. He tells of the conversations that he had as a regular caddy for the Rev. Dr. Billy Graham with whom he maintained a life-long friendship.

Of course, many of our listeners will know H.K. best for his confrontations with Gov. Nikki Haley, the vigils that he keeps in Confederate uniform at the base of Southern monuments, or for his famous Virginia to Texas "March Across Dixie." These too are topics of discussion in this week's TBR Radio Presents: The Dixie Heritage Hour.

TBR RADIO’S DIXIE HERITAGE HOUR - MAR. 15, 2019 – Billy Roper

In this week's TBR Radio Presents: The Dixie Heritage Hour, Dr. Ed interviews Billy Roper, author of 15 books and host of the weekly Roper Report radio show.

Billy's degrees in Anthropology uniquely qualify him to comment on the decline of our culture.

His Master's Thesis was a controversial claim that whites settled North America before the "native Americans" crossed the Bearing Straight. He explains that just as the Indians crossed the Pacific on the Bearing Straight, their white predecessors had crossed the Atlantic on an ice shelf during the "ice age." Then the conversation transitions to the topics of "racism" and "diversity" and how "diversity" never occurs naturally but only happens when an outside force like government forces it.

People, left to their own freedom of association, will almost always chose to identify with people like themselves. This is NOT "racism" but simply human nature. So if there is a problem with "racism" in America it is the creation of the government. In other words, government is the cause of the problem, therefore, more government is not the solution.

Basically, Billy explains, as an anthropologist, why "nationalist" movements are emerging across North America, all over Europe, and around the world. "White nationalists," "black nationalists," "hispanic nationalists," etc. are not racists. They are just people doing what people have done over and over again in the numerous cycles of civilization that have occurred throughout human history.

JFK, in part, may have been killed because he understood the danger of "multiculturalism" and refused to advance the political agenda of "identity politics" and advocate for the "immigration breakdown" that has overtaken the Democrat Party of today.

But what we are seeing is NOT a new phenomenon. Rather, we are seeing the end of our empire and the breakdown of our civilization. And, we are seeing our State and empire breakdown EXACTLY as Rome and other great empires before it. Because what our government is failing to force is exactly what many before it also failed to force. The social turmoil we are living in is the natural revolt of people to do what is natural when the force of government attempts to force them to do the unnatural.

Billy explains different aspects of these cultural and societal evolutions and revolutions in detail in each of his books and in shorter form for our listeners as he condenses years of anthropological studies into a very short hour.

Toward the end Billy brags just a bit on his Confederate ancestors.

THE DIXIE HERITAGE HOUR - MAR. 8, 2019 – Rick Cletus Hurst

In this week's broadcast of TBR Radio Presents: The Dixie Heritage Hour, Dr. Ed calls iconic television and movie actor Rick Hurst to talk about his acting career and, specifically, what it was like to be Deputy Cletus Hogg on The Dukes of Hazzard.

Rick tells Dr. Ed about his college days, why he started as a pre-med student but changed his major to psychology, and how that psychology education would later help him as an actor.

Before appearing on Dukes of Hazzard Rick had roles in movies as well as on several popular TV shows including: The Partridge Family, Sanford and Son, The Bob Newhart Show, The Dorris Day Show, Little House on the Prairie, Kojak, M*A*S*H, CHiPs, Kung-Fu, The Six-Million Dollar Man, Gunsmoke, and Happy Days. Rick talks about his time on these shows as well as what it was like to work with some of Hollywood's legends such as John Rich, Redd Foxx, Demond Wilson, Doris Day, Denver Pyle, Andy Griffith, Jim Neighbors, Burt Reynolds, Telly Savales, David Caradine, Bob Newhart, the cast of Happy Days, Michael Landon, Johnny Carson and of course, the entire cast of The Dukes of Hazzard.

Actors and actresses have a "natural generosity," according to Rick, and that is one of the reasons, why, over 40 years later, Dukes is still a very successful show - because of the excessive generosity of the cast.

His character on Dukes, Cletus Hogg, was supposed to be a one-episode character. But when Sonny Shroyer's appendix burst his recovery time, followed by Sonny moving to a spin-off show of his own, left a hole in the cast and Deputy Cletus ended up becoming a permanent character.

Rick talks about his off camera friendships with several of the Dukes of Hazzard cast members but he speaks at length about his dear friendship with the late Sorell Booke (Boss Hogg) and gives many interesting insights into Booke's personality and life-story.

Also discussed are Bea Arthur's divorce and political activism, explaining how the political activism of Hollywood in the 70's and 80's was very different from the agenda-driven "entertainment" of today.

Hurst is saddened by the removal of the Dukes of Hazzard and the iconic General Lee car from television and believes that the Dukes example of a loving family that always could be counted on to do the right thing should be returned to TV. Uncle Jessie, he said, had a strong moral code that was taught by example and the Dukes characters were great role-models who do not deserve to be the victims of "political correctness" gone too far.

Both of Rick's sons have followed in their father's footsteps. His younger son Colin is appearing in Progressive commercials and his older son Ryan is currently a star on The Living Dead. So after bragging a little on his kids, Rick talks about what it is like, 40 years later, to still be Cletus Hogg and to still be making the circuit to car shows and other events where he is always recognized and remembered as Deputy Cletus.

Rick makes it a point to end the show thanking Dr. Ed and Dixie Heritage for keeping the truth about the South in the forefront of the national conscience.

TBR RADIO’S DIXIE HERITAGE HOUR - MAR. 1, 2019 – Paul Angel

In this week’s broadcast of TBR Radio Presents: The Dixie Heritage Hour Dr. Ed talks with TBR's Executive Editor, Paul Angel, about the March/April issue of The Barnes Review Magazine.

The conversation begins with a discussion of John Wear's article on Erwin Rommel, the Desert Fox. Contrary to propaganda, Rommel was a patriot and was never a part of a plot to kill his Commander-in-Chief or to commit treason against his nation. So why did he willfully take poison when accused? What Rommel and Hitler did understand was that the war against Germany was actually a war against the Christian and European culture and civilization of the German nation.

We have recently seen the same disdain in the way the media twisted the story of the Covington Catholic kids whose only crimes were being "Christian" and "white." This is why the "allies," especially the Soviets, did not limit their attacks to military targets but also bombed the churches, statues, great works of art, and cultural icons of Germany.

In Europe today, we are seeing the same thing happening as artists such as Alison Chabloz who told TBR interviewer Dave Gahary, “I’m the only singer in modern British history who’s actually been put in prison for singing songs that nobody was forced to listen to.”

There is a brief conversation about Clint Lacy's great article on the influence that the Knights of the Golden Circle had in both armies during the War Between the States, Dr. Ed's article on secession and that it was a right guaranteed to the States in the Constitution, and the murderous violence of nelson Mandela.

The discussion ends with an overview of Thomas Goodrich's article on the savagery of Indian attacks and TBR Associate Editor John Tiffany's great article on how violence on the reservation in Oklahoma was actually one of the reasons why the FBI was established.

You don't want to miss this great conversation about another great issue of TBR Magazine.
