This is a rebroadcast of the April 13, 2018 show when Dr. Ed interviews creation scientist, Dr. Kent Hovind,, author of the book "The Kennel."

Dr. Hovind spent 10 years in Federal Prison. During that time he authored a book titled "The Kennel." In it, Dr. Hovind explains how the Prison INDUSTRY is a huge racket.

Judges, Prosecutors, Attorneys, Police, Sheriffs, Mayors, Governors, Congressman, Senators, garden variety politicians, and their familes are becoming millionaires.

Of course, this requires that the prison population increase, and increase, and increase. The United States has the world's LARGEST prison population and its growing exponentially - increasing the profits for the Judges and Politicians!

The whole scheme is exposed in this deep-diving interview.

THE DIXIE HERITAGE HOUR – OCT. 18, 2019 – James King and Clint Lacy

This week's show has two guests.

First, Dr. Ed calls James King. James is a regular columnist in the Candian Free Press and a Georgia Commander for the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

Commander King had 14 ancestors who died in the War Between the States.

His Great-Grandfather Edward B. King served in the 18th North Carolina, the unit that became famous for accidentally wounding Stonewall Jackson.

His other great-grandfather, on his mother's side, fought in the battles at Natural Bridge and Olustee, Florida. The battle at Natural bridge was a Confederate victory that prevented the Yanks from capturing Tallahassee.

After the War his maternal ancestors migrated from Florida to Georgia where they were among the founders of the town of Moultree.

Before the War Between the States his maternal great-great grandfather and uncle were officers in the Revolution and he talks a little about them as well.

Commander King tells of how a couple of his ancestors owned slaves. He explains the doctrine of "Presentism" whereby people in our modern day judge and ridicule people of previous eras using the morals and ideals of the modern day. He explains why this is an unjust and inaccurate standard by which to judge not only his ancestors but all peoples of the Antebellum era.

He also explains how the Sons of Confederate Veterans camp that he leads purchased a parcel of ground, built a park upon it, and related the old Confederate monument that had been removed in Albany, Georgia to this privately owned property where it is displayed in a beautiful setting.

Also discussed is that there was only one cause for the War, and it was not slavery, but there were several causes for secession. Our guest talks about two of them.

The genetic and hereditary make-up of Southerners was different than that of Northerners. And this was the cause for cultural and philisophical differences that simply could not be reconciled.

After hanging up with Commander King, Dr. Ed calls Clint Lacy.

His ancestor William Nathaniel Ingraham was one of the ten men selected to personally guard Confederate President Jefferson Davis during his retreat from Richmond. He was with President Davis in Georgia when they were both captured.

He also had paternal great-great uncles who served in Kentucky and Mississippi units.

According to Clint, all of his ancestors, "went in privates and came out privates."

The show ends with John Schneider singing "I Dream of Tumbleweeds."

Its hard to get celebrities to set for an hour-long interview. So Dr. Ed has been setting on celebrity interview clips just not long enough for a show. In this week's TBR Radio Presents: The Dixie Heritage Hour we put those clips together.

The show starts with Danny Shirley, lead singer of Confederate Railroad, about their music, about how the band chose its name, what the name means to them, and what it means to be a Southerner.

Danny also talks specifically about what it was like to be recently kicked out of the Illinois State Fair because of the band's name and why they are not gonna change it.

Danny also tells us why he refuses to be "politically correct." In fact, he explains why he is just as offended by the "R" word as black people are at hearing the "N" word.

Former NFL coach Jerry Glanville appears very briefly as the songs "Queen of Memphis," "Jesus and Mama," "The 'R' Word," and "Still One Outlaw Left" are played on the show.

Danny tells us the stories behind each of these as an introduction to the songs.

Charlie Daniels is a friend of Confederate heritage and he openly voiced his objection to the ousting of Confederate Railroad by the Governor of Illinois. So Dr. Ed shares a clip of a phone call of the iconic fiddle player not only expressing his disgust for how Confederate Railroad was treated, he also advocates for keeping all Confederate monuments and discusses his admiration for Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee.

The show ends with a clip of Gary Rossington, Johnny Van Zant, and Rickey Medlocke from Lynyrd Skynyrd talking about their pride in their Southern heritage and why they fly the Confederate Flag.

Dr. Ed makes a Skype call to Switzerland to speak to Marcus Busser.

Marcus is a missionary who has been living and serving in Columbia for the last 27 years.

He has established the Cartagena, Columbia campus of University of the Nations. He is the President for the South American campuses of University of the Nations.

In Cartagena Marcus has established the House of the Nations from which he has sent hundreds of missionaries. Marcus explains the differences between the governments in South and Latin America that are democracies and those that are socialist. He also explains why the Socialist countries are NOT working.

He explains how the government systems and "democracy" works in Switzerland, Columbia, Mexico, Venezuela, and Brazil.

Did you know that Switzerland has no President or Chief Executive but a Council of 7 executives?

We talk about the political system and problems in Venezuela, how that country went from being a wealthy country to impoverished, and about the millions of refugees that have fled to Columbia from Venezuela.

Marcus was in Switzerland at the time of the interview so I asked how people in Switzerland and South America viewed Donald Trump. The answers will surprise you.

I also asked him how Columbians view Jair Bolsonaro, Brazil's president who is very Donald Trump like.

Marcus tells us why Columbia is freer than the United States.

How Evangelical Party has been established in Columbia and they have seated 20 Senators in the last year, and the importance of "limited government" and why the most important government is "self government."
