Long after the war was supposed to be over, battles were being fought in far away places like Australia and Russia. Naval battles were being fought in the Pacific and Arctic oceans, there was even a Confederate naval invasion of San Francisco.

Learn why the Confederate naval power was superior to that of the Union and what finally became of many CSA ships (many of which were in service long after the war).
